STUDIO POLICY AND CONTRACT

Blueberry Buddha Akai Transfer Contract

This contract should be signed and included with your shipment of Akai tapes.  You may also scan the contract with your signature and email it to me at elevenshadows@yahoo.com.

Payment
Payment is accepted with credit cards via PayPal or PayPal to elevenshadows@yahoo.com after the transfer is completed.

Studio rate for transfers:
The cost for transfers to DVD-R for your 19 cm/second (10 minute) tapes:  $50 per tape
The cost for transfers to DVD-R for your 9 cm/second (20 minute) tapes:  $60 per tape

Liability
My Akai MG1214 is kept in pristine condition, is maintained regularly at VST in Pasadena, and is de-magnetized before and after every session, and my tape transport is kept extremely clean and operational.  However, Akai MG1212 and MG1214 tapes are old, may have been exposed to heat or water or otherwise improperly stored, and did I mention that they are OLD?  Therefore, I will not be held responsible for any damage to your tapes while in my machine. 

I am not responsible for any shipping problems that occur after I drop it off at UPS or the post office.  I am not responsible for any shipping problems which occur before I receive the tapes.

Signature by artist or artist's representative below acknowledges these rates and rules are in effect, and exempt Ken Lee and Blueberry Buddha Studios from any liability to either persons or equipment. 

Should any portion of this Agreement prove to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall not affect the balance of this Agreement. This Agreement is guided by and governed by the laws of the State of California and Los Angeles County shall be the place of execution and jurisdiction. 

Should any litigation arise between the parties hereto regarding the performance of this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be compensated for whatever damages are awarded, plus reasonable attorney's fees by the other party. 

This Agreement is the complete understanding between the parties and supersedes and replaces all previous agreements or representations both written and oral. 

THE UNDERSIGNED PARTIES have read and understand the terms and conditions of this Agreement and do hereby set their hands.
